Accepted Into Sons of the American Revolution
Posted by Grant on May 15, 2020
I worked for years trying to prove my lineage and be able to provide the necessary sources to be accepted into the Sons of the American Revolution. It's an accomplishment that I will always cherish. I was accepted under Jacob George Klock. He was a judge, member of the assembly and one of the first state senators for New York. He was born in Albany County, New York in 1738 and died in 1814. He was a judge for Tryon County and represented them in the New York State Assembly from September 1777 to 1778. He was a member of the New York State Senate from 1778-1785. Additionally he was on the committee of forfeiture from 1779 to 1788.

I am now working on many supplemental applications for more of my patriot ancestors.
